From the 'NIECE' foundation Board of Directors
WE Toy Drive, Inc. received non-profit (501c3) status in July 2022, in preparation for our annual drive. Unfortunately, the WE brand dissolved in the fall 2022, and the annual drive cancelled; however the core values of the WE Toy Drive mission were expanding underneath in 2022 with personal changes and an unlikely relationship and TRUST between neighbors. December 2022, the planning of the 'NIECE' foundation was formed with a new board and mission.
MISSION: To provide free assisted core life services to the elderly in defined neighborhoods, to ensure their needs are met with dignity and grace, as well as, their legacy and any late wishes are carried out.
New PURPOSE
To develop a network of neighbors of volunteer services to provide core basic life needs to those limited with abilities.
Coordinate network and fundraising efforts to provide and arrange of services by the fall of 2023.
Services not finalized:
Healthy Meal prep and delivery by Fresh N' Go Foods
Companionship
Limited yard and house cleaning
Dog walking
Limited ride services
Fundraising Events:
Healthy Cooking classes by fitness and cuisine experts
Seasonal parties and more
Coordination with other services network.
